This is something which the Minister seeks to dodge, but it is a policy which he has carried on and continues to implement. “It’s simply not good enough to say that no more of these letters will be issued. There should never have been any of these letters issued in the first place and those in circulation should, as the First Minister claimed was a resigning issue, be rescinded.
“If the letters are no longer of any force, as the DUP laughably claim, the Downey judgement would be appealed.
“The demands made by Peter Robinson should have been met in full. They haven’t been and innocent victims are, once again, the losers.”
