Statement by TUV leader Jim Allister:
“The Belfast Agreement talks had three strands. The first strand related to the internal affairs of Northern Ireland, from which the Dublin government was excluded.
“This principle has been broken in the Haass talks as he was discussing Northern Ireland’s internal affairs (flags, parades, etc) in Dublin.
“How do people believe that discussions with a foreign government will help to ease Loyalist fears about their identity and sovereignty and why have the DUP and UUP agreed to such a process?”
