The DSD Permanent Secretary has written to TUV leader Jim Allister to advise that the fact-finding exercise relating to DSD SPAD, Stephen Brimstone, has been completed and DSD is now set to decide if disciplinary proceedings will follow.
Commenting Jim Allister said, “I’m glad this time-wasting exercise has been completed and trust the department will now get down to the business of dealing with the complaint made against Mr Brimstone following his infamous phone call to bully Cllr Jenny Palmer. There has been enough dancing around this issue. It’s time to face up to it.”
